Optionally, we would like to include your anonymized data in a dataset of student learning outcomes.
If you give permission, your answers will be stripped of identifiable information and included in the Learning About STEM Student Outcomes (LASSO) research dataset. The LASSO research dataset is a large collection of student and class information that is anonymized and shared with researchers investigating issues of teaching and learning. By anonymizing the data in the dataset, we ensure that no answers can be linked to any individual student. To further ensure the ethical use of students data, only researchers with approved Institutional Review Board protocols are allowed access to the LASSO research dataset. Sharing your answers with the LASSO research dataset is entirely voluntary. Your agreement to include your data (or not) in the research dataset is indicated by clicking one of the two buttons below. You must be over 18 to agree to share your data in the LASSO research dataset. If you do not agree to share your data with the LASSO research dataset, your answers will still be stored and shared with your instructor and/or assessment coordinator.
