PEER Physics Diagnostic (PEER)

Purpose

PEER Physics Diagnostic (PEER) measures students’ attitudes and beliefs about learning physics, focusing on sense-making, reasoning, and real-world connections in inquiry-based classrooms.

Population

The PEER is designed for high school and college students in Physics through Evidence, Empowerment through Reasoning (PEER Physics) courses aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards.

Typical Performance

The PEER is a new instrument without an established performance range.
