The Dweck Mindset Instrument (DMI) evaluates how individuals view their intelligence – with four statements each for fixed and incremental perspectives. Another set of four statements focuses on talent development. The questionnaire claims to reliably measure mindset, but precise reliability and validity figures aren’t widely available, despite its frequent use as a self-completion survey.

The DMI is frequently used in psychology and relevant college courses.
