Create an Instructor Account and Sign In

You need a free LASSO instructor account to create courses. If a colleague added you to their course as an assessment coordinator, you may already have one.

Create an instructor account

  1. Go to the LASSO sign-in page.
  2. Under Don’t have an account? Sign up now., click Create an instructor or faculty account.
  3. Enter your First Name, Last Name and Email (Middle Name is optional). Use your institutional email.
  4. Check I agree to LASSO’s Terms of Service and complete the “I’m not a robot” check.
  5. Click NEXT and follow the instructions sent to your email to finish setting up your account.

Sign in

  1. Go to the LASSO sign-in page.
  2. Enter your Email and Password, then click SIGN IN.

Reset a forgotten password

  1. On the sign-in page, click I need to reset my password.
  2. Enter your email address.
  3. Open the email from LASSO and click Reset Password (or the link in the email).
  4. Type your new password and click Reset Password.

Tip: Signed in already? You can also reset your password from My Account (the person icon at the top right), then RESET PASSWORD.
